Khao Sok | Beyond the Mist

Top contributor Dark Yellow Horizons earned a DVOW Finalist nomination for this excellent drone video from the ancient forests of Thailand's Khao Sok National Park. The park covers an area of a bit under 300 square mi. (around 740 square km) in Surat Thani province, a bit to the north of the Phuket/Krabi area. The park also includes Cheow Lan Lake, a giant artificial lake which was created in connection with the construction of the Rajjaprabha Dam. Khao Sok Park is home to the largest remaining virgin forest in southern Thailand.
