Phanom Bencha | The Lost Trail

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

AirVuz contributor Dark Yellow Horizons was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for this outstanding video from Thailand's southern province of Krabi.  The video was filmed in the area of Phanom Bencha, which is a mountain that reaches an altitude of about 4.6k ft. above sea level (around 1.4k m).  The mountain and its surroundings are mostly rainforest.  The mountain's peak lies around a dozen miles (around 20 km) north of the province's (namesake) capital city and a bit less distance due east of Phang Nga Bay.

BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

Phanom Bencha | The Lost Trail is a cinematic expedition film shot in the remote landscapes of Krabi Province, Southern Thailand.

Rising to 1,397 meters above the rainforest-covered landscapes of Krabi, Phanom Bencha is one of the highest and most remote mountain ranges in Southern Thailand.

Over 6 weeks of exploration, I searched for hidden jungle paths and possible routes toward the summit using off-grid trekking, kayaking and drone cinematography through untouched rainforest environments, rivers and waterfalls.

Filmed entirely in real locations with minimal narration, the film focuses on atmosphere, progression and immersion.
