Koh Yao | The Last Untouched Islands

There is no shortage of beautiful islands and beaches in southern Thailand. Many are easy to reach and many deserve their reputation.

But the places I search for are different.

Places where the crowds disappear. Places where roads end, where there are no buildings in sight and where nature becomes the only thing that fills the frame.

Reaching them often means hours of scouting, paddling through mangroves, waiting for the right tide or trekking several kilometers through dense jungle.

This is the side of Thailand I love to film.

No resorts. No busy beaches. No distractions. Just nature, exploration and the journey into places that still feel wild.
