Lakes in the German Alps

Take in these stunning aerial views of the Bavarian Alps in southern Germany, compliments of former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Akos Kovacs.  The focus of the video is the lakes which dot the region, which covers much of southern Bavaria.  These range from large bodies of water like the Chiemsee, which covers nearly 20k acres, to tiny lakes like the Alpsee and the Rothsee, which are only a few hundred acres.  The region's lakes are fed by runoff from the mountains, which are part of the Northern Limestone Alps.
