Loughcrew throughout the year
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Former DVOW Finalist Drone Photography Ireland created this stunning four-season drone video of the ancient ruins of Loughcrew, Ireland. Situated in County Meath in the eastern part of the island, the area is known for its hilltop tombs which sit atop a prominent hill. It's what is known as a passage tomb, one of four such sites identified in Ireland. The tombs date to the 4th millennium BC - over 5,000 years ago. The area including the tombs and the hill is known as Slieve na Calliagh, and it's a protected national site.

I've visited Loughcrew several times as it's one of my favorite local places, not only because of the history but also for the feeling I get every time I walk up the hill. These are my favorite moments I've captured throughout the year from above
