Without doubt, the fortress-cum-monastery on the island of Mont St.-Michel is one of the most iconic sights of France. In this drone video by top contributor BeemFlights, you'll get a great bird's eye view not only of the great structure (which dates to the 8th century AD) but also of the island itself. Located just a few hundred meters/yards off the Normandy coast, the island (which is sometimes connected to the mainland, depending on the tides) features some very impressive-looking rock formations.
