Malta: History and Beauty

With a history reaching as far back as 5900BC, Malta's culture reflects many influences, from the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans, and Greeks, to the French and British, to name a few.  The many fortresses and historic sites found on this Mediterranean archipelago reflect this range of culture and provided a perfect filming location for Season 1 of the HBO series Game of Thrones.  Several well known landmarks including Fort St. Angelo, and the now collapsed Azure Window can be seen in this beautiful drone video, produced by Aerial Entertainment Studios.
