Bosnia Herzegovina is the most ethnically and religiously diverse of the former Yugoslavian countries. Unlike other parts of the Balkans which had spent long periods under the rule of the Ottoman Empire, the people of Bosnia largely adopted the Islamic faith, although the Muslim majority has generally peacefully existed with substantial Catholic and Eastern Orthodox minorities. Contributor Dan Drone had these ideas in mind when he created this amazing drone video from a trip to this ancient and beautiful land.

About a quarter of a century after the war the marks of the battles still visible on some of the buildings but in parallel You can clearly see the improvement and the signs of reconstruction. The atmosphere of Mostar is really unique between the mosques and bars. You can hear the voice of the muezzin mixed with a song of a street artist. Locals are friendly with tourists but if You enough sensitive You can feel the tension what is the legacy of the war...
