Monte Camoghé 2.0 (Ticino, Switzerland)

The Camoghè is a mountain in the Lugano Prealps, located in the Canton of Ticino, with an elevation of 2228 meters above sea level. Its summit marks the boundary between the Bellinzona District and the Lugano District. Its relatively high altitude for the prealps places it in an intermediate environment between the alpine and prealpine zones. The abundance of iron in its rocks often gives it a reddish hue.
