Monte San Salvatore - Spring Edition (Ticino, Switzerland)

San Salvatore (912 m), also known as Switzerland's Sugar Loaf Mountain, is the symbol of Lugano. The funicular railway of Monte San Salvatore is located in Paradiso and leads to the summit in just 12 minutes. Here the 360° scenery is almost indescribable and extends from Lake Lugano to the Po Valley, ending with the peaks of the Swiss and Savoy Alps.

On the summit of San Salvatore there is also the church of the same name, with its centuries of history, and a museum. The Ristorante Vetta San Salvatore offers gastronomic dishes to be enjoyed on the veranda or on the panoramic terrace.
