After starting on a DX8 and later switching to a Jumper T16 I have gotten used to larger controllers and the game style just felt wrong to hold in my hands. I wanted to try Expresslrs and decided to go for a Jumper T-lite with Happymodel 2.4 hardware to really give game style controllers a try. A hot summer morning when I got some time to fly I hit the local bando and got really surprised of the feeling of the new setup. I later turned my rates down about 30-40 deg. sec. and have found the feeling and link quality to be really good and penetration is impressive on just 50mw. I was coming from older Crossfire firmware without crsfshot. I will try crossfire with crsfshot later and compare back to back with the same controller but so far elrs has a few huge advantages as the small antennas and receivers are light, cheap and easy to bind to multiple transmitters. When it comes to game style controllers my first impression is that they might be more ergonomic for thumbs style grip and my hands but its still a little strange and more back to back testing with standard size controllers will be done in the future before I decide what my new setup will be.
