Muiden Castle, the Netherlands

Contributor and pilot Jaap put together this bird's eye view of Muiden, a well known castle in the Netherlands.  It's located in a town of the same name, just a few minutes south of Amsterdam.  The current structure was constructed in the 14th century on the ruins of a castle which had been built about a century earlier.  It was used as a prison for a time in the 18th century, and was almost destroyed (again) but saved by an intervention by the Dutch King in the 19th century and subsequently restored.
