Nevado de Toluca “Xinantecatl” Mexico

South-central Mexico is home to some of the world's most famous volcanic peaks.  One of them is Nevada de Toluca, known as Xinantecatl to the native peoples.  Located about 80 km (around 50 mi.) west of Mexico city, it's the fourth-highest mountain in Mexico after Pico de Orizaba, Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl (all of which are part of the same volcanic belt).  The stratovolcano has a peak elevation of about 4.7k meters, or around 15.35k ft. It's now part of a national park.
