Long Beach has a never ending list of things to do; especially if you like to be on or near the water. Long Beach's marine stadium was created to host the 1932 Summer Olympics and was the first manmade rowing course in the US. It's also served as the venue for the 1968 and 1976 men's Olympic rowing trials and the 1984 women's Olympic trials. Today the stadium hosts the Pete Archer Rowing center...and is an amazing place to learn, workout and race. As you will see in the video - dozens of rowers are on the water each morning often before sunrise.
