The Mont Pilat transmitter is a radio broadcasting transmitter located on the Crêt de l'Œillon, in the Pilat massif, in the Loire department. Installed in 1955 at an altitude of 1,361 meters and equipped with an 80-meter tower, it is one of the most powerful broadcasting sites in France after the Eiffel Tower. It is operated by Télédiffusion de France (TDF).
