Diaporos is a small island in northern Greece with 542 inhabitants. Its area is 3.2 km2. The island forms a large natural bay that serves as a port. The bay is shallow and suitable for swimming in winter. Most of the island is covered with pine forest. It is located about 600 km from Sofia and 600 meters from Vourvourou, and the only way to get there is by water. People rent speedboats, water taxis or kayaks. The more adventurous arrive on the island by paddle board. There are also organized canoe tours of the island.

The most emblematic place of Diaporos island is the blue lagoon, where there are a large number of moored boats and crystal clear water. And the most beautiful beach on the island is called Myrsini and is located on the east coast. It is because of this beach that Diaporos can be compared to a Caribbean island. The remaining numerous bays will also leave you speechless and you will remember them for a very long time.

Diaporos Island is uninhabited and has no paved roads and drinking water. It is known for its small clean beaches and crystal clear water. You won't find bars and discos in Diaporos, so stock up on water and food.
