The city of Bologna is considered one of the great cultural treasures of Italy and indeed of Europe. It's the capital of the Emilia-Romagna region in the north-central part of the country. What's less appreciated though is the areas just outside of the city which are home to some of the world's most unusual rock formations. In this drone video by enricocif, you'll get a bird's eye view of the Parco della Abbadessa e Castello Machiavelli. The park sits in the hills outside of the city, in the heart of a series of very large and distinctive looking granite outcrops.
