Recife: The Venice of Brazil
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Here is an aerial look at the city of Recife, one of the largest cities in Brazil. It's the capital of Pernambuco, a small (area-wise) but densely populated state in the country's Northeastern region. Recife is very near the easternmost extreme point of the country. Founded by the Portuguese in the middle of the 16th century, it has historically served (among other things) as the primary port for the country's massive sugar export trade. As you'll see from the video, it's a colorful and cosmopolitan looking city.
