The small village of Pentedattilo is nestled between the Aspromonte mountains in that portion of Calabria known as the Grecanica area. In this impervious area, the traces of the ancient nature of a crossroads on the Mediterranean basin are preserved. Pentedattilo is no exception with its nativity scene of stone houses lying at the foot of Mount Calvario, a huge boulder similar to a cyclopean hand from which the village takes its name (penta and daktylos that is five fingers). The village is largely uninhabited due to migratory phenomena and the continuous natural threats that affected the area in the mid-1900s. Shot on DJI FPV with Go Pro Hero 8
