The Aeronautic Club of Pichilemu and the Pichilemu Chamber of Commerce invited me to come for a weekend to film in Pichilemu (surf capital of the world). Not one to turn down a free trip, I said yes.. this is a bit different than my usual fare -- no mountains, lots of salt water (ack!), and some unforeseen challenges (salt water spray on the gopro lens) -- but I think it came out alright.
Many thanks to Washington (https://es-la.facebook.com/Club-A%C3%A9reo-de-Pichilemu-806962489373128/) and Danilo (https://www.facebook.com/ccpichilemu/) for their generous invitation! And as always, thank you to Flying Cinema for their support. Go check out their awesome frames: https://flyingcinema.com/
The rock formations are at Punta de Lobos, one of the more famous beaches at Pichilemu. The opening shots were at the Salinas at Cahuil, where they harvest sea salt. The large lake is the humedal of Pichilemu, with a couple more beaches thrown in for good measure.
