Ponte Visconteo Borghetto sul Mincio Verona Italia

New AirVuz contributor earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this excellent video of a famous aqueduct in northern Italy.  It's called the Visconti Bridge, and it spans the Mincio River, which runs for a length of about 40 mi. (around 65 km) south from its source at Lake Garda and empties into the Po River.  The structure originally dates to the late 14th century, when it was part of a fortified dam system.  Within a relatively short period of time, the dam system was abandoned, and the span has since served as a bridge across the valley.
