Jordan Hill can be skipped - we only see the foundations of a Roman temple.

Portland Castle (no fly zone) was built around 1540 by Henry VIII and played a role in the Civil War and both world wars.

Rufus Castle was built at the end of the 15th century - unfortunately it's not open to the public.

Abbotsbury Abbey Remains are scant except for the impressive barn which is supposed to be the biggest of England - it doesn't seem to be open.

St. Catherine's Chapel sits on a hill overlooking the abbey and the coast and was used as a lighthouse after the dissolution of the abbey.

Don't miss the ceremony at the end!
