Portugal Drone Minute - Ferragudo, Lagoa municipality

Hi everyone, Today we're flying over Ferragudo, a small fishing village in the municipality of Lagoa, tucked along the banks of the Arade River right where it meets the Atlantic.Ferragudo is one of those places that still feels authentic. Whitewashed houses with orange rooftops climb up the hillside, narrow cobbled streets wind between them, and the village looks right across the river to the fortress of São João do Arade and the town of Portimão on the other side.Fishing boats still line the riverside, and you can feel the working history of this place in every corner, this isn't a village that was built for tourism, it grew naturally around the fishing community, and that character has stuck around.If you're exploring this part of the Algarve, Ferragudo is well worth the detour. It's quieter, it's more traditional, and the views over the river and out to the coast are some of the best in the region.Enjoy the flight.Matt
