Red Bull Drone 1 VS RB20 with Max Verstappen - F1 Full Lap at Silverstone

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : If you've ever wondered how fast FPV drones can go, you definitely need to check out this video by legendary FPV pilot ShaggyFPV. He was able to film three-time (as of 2024) Formula One Champion driver Max Verstappen taking a lap around the Silverstone Circuit, home of the British Grand Prix. In the lower right corner of the video, you'll see the on-screen display from his FPV goggles, which has a speed readout showing his drone getting to just under 300 km/hr (about 180 mph) as he keeps up with the car on the rain-slickened track.

In January 2023 @redbull came to us with the question if we could follow an F1 car for a full lap. At the time it seemed an impossible task, but we gave it our all. With more then 8 months of R&D, testing, going back to the drawing board AND working together with Red Bull Advanced Technologies we pulled it off.
