Relaxing Southern Skye Castles: Caisteal Maol, Knock & Armadale

Three castles on the southern part of Skye. Maol is a sparse ruin on the eastern tip of Kyleakin across from the bridge.

Knock is reached after maybe a kilometer walk from the parking lot at Torabhaig Distillery. Again the setting makes the sight, not the stones. 

Armadale Castle is a different beast, built around 1790 and most of it standing. We didn't enter.
