Riding the Storm | A Snowboard movie through Japan’s best POW

Deep powder, epic freeride lines, and unforgettable memories—our snowboard trip to Japan was everything we dreamed of! From the legendary slopes of Hakuba Happo One, Hakuba 47, Hakuba Cortina, and Sapporo Kokusai (Hokkaido) to the vibrant streets of Tokyo and the powder paradise of Niseko, we chased the ultimate Japow experience with epic tree lines.

With endless tree runs, untouched backcountry, and waist-deep powder, we went full send on some of the best freeriding terrain out there. Armed with iPhone, GoPro, and DJI Mini 4 Pro, we captured every drop, pillow line, and face shot in the deepest snow on earth. Riding alongside Rick Ruiter, Christopher Borghi, and Roel Cosijnse, this was a trip for the books. Also, we went touring through the backcountry to explore even more of the terrain on our splitboard.
