The Rosenburg is the ruin of a hilltop castle on a wooded hill west of Herisau in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden in Switzerland. It is located on the Ramsenstock (926 m above sea level), one kilometre south of Ramsen, and is therefore also called Ramsenburg.

The complex consists of a residential tower, residential buildings and the surrounding wall and is surrounded by a deep moat. The keep (residential tower) with a high entrance has a base area of 9.2 × 9.7 metres and a wall thickness of 2.2 to 2.9 metres.
