Rotterdam Witte-Huis & Old Harbor in 4K
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
The Dutch city of Rotterdam is best known for its container port, the busiest in Europe. The city's rich history has largely been forgotten, primarily because the core of the city was destroyed by an infamous German bombing in the early months of World War II, an act which led to a quick Dutch surrender in order to avoid even more civilian casualties. One of the only buildings left standing in the May, 1940 bombardment was the Witte Huis, seen here in this drone video. Completed in 1898, it was Europe's tallest building for a time.

Rotterdam is the second largest city in Netherlands which was partially destroyed during the World War! Witte-Huis (a.k.a Calex) is one of the few buildings survived the war and it is also the first high-rise building of Europe! It was a great experience to shoot this video during the golden hour. I recommend Rotterdam for the drone lovers who would like to shoot interesting city footage. Rotterdam is quite unique in NL from a modern architecture perspective. It is also likely to see very old buildings and they are perfectly harmonized with the modern ones:)
