Maasvlakte, Rotterdam, Netherlands (Industry) in 4K

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

XL Creations created this fascinating drone video of the Maasvlakte, a piece of reclaimed land in the Dutch North Sea at the mouth of the Nieuwe Maas River.  It was built in the 1960's as a way to enlarge the  Port of Rotterdam, at the time the world's busiest port (and still Europe's busiest), which lies a bit upstream.  It's now a massive industrial and transportation complex and part of the Europoort, the area west of the original port which had been developed starting in the 19th century.
