Ruhama Badlands in the spring

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Check out this drone video from a historic area of southern Israel, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot Omer Tsur - AirWorks. It was filmed around the town of Ruhama in the Negev Desert, not far from the area known as the Gaza Strip. The town became the site of Israel's first kibbutz - a type of agricultural collective which took hold in what was then British-controlled Palestine in the early 20th century. During World War I, the area became an important base of operation for the British Army under General Allenby.
