What appears on maps as an almost straight coastline, from Cabo Silleiro to Punta de Santa Tegra, in the municipalities of Baiona, Oia and A Guarda becomes in situ a coast of multiple granite cuts bordered by splashes of the sea waves where the only straight line is the sea horizon. The mountain range comes as close as possible to the Atlantic and offers viewing points such as O CortelliƱo, located on the path to the top of A Groba (663 m), eleven kilometres from Baiona, where the landscape explains itself. The mouth of the Vigo estuary with the Cƭes Islands acquires a novel perspective from this southern end.In addition to landscapes, A Groba is known for other aspects of life and art. It is home to the most important concentration of free-roaming Galician horses. The route of the curros guides us to the parishes of TorroƱa and MougƔs, in the municipality of Oia.And rock art. It has one of the largest concentrations of engraved rocks in Galicia. The route of the petroglyphs starts from Baiona to Campos and Outeiro dos Lameiros, but there are many other slabs such as the great labyrinth of the written stone of Burgueira, A CabeciƱa in MougƔs or the hunter's stone in Pedornes.
