The town of Sichon on Southern Thailand’s east coast has an abundance of rivers supporting the extensive fishing industry. The estuary sees a constant flow of boats, some heading into the Gulf of Thailand for as long as three months, with others acting as supply boats, returning with the ice-packed fish. Other boats just journey out for a spot of overnight fishing, returning early morning with their catch.
