Spectacular PURLINGBROOK FALLS Gold Coast Hinterland - 4K

After a recent rain event, it was the perfect time to capture the spectacular Purlingbrook Falls.

Located in the lush & spectacular Springbrook National Park Queensland Australia, Purling Brook Falls is a popular attraction in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

As one of the tallest waterfalls in Queensland, Purlingbrook Falls flows over a cliff for approximately 120 metres into the pools below. Situated in a world heritage site, these falls are surrounded by unique flora and wildlife.

A brief hike on graduated steps brings you to a picnic area where you can relax and watch the amazing waterfall as it cascades into the depths below.

The surrounding environment of Purlingbrook Falls is almost unmatched for serenity.

From the lookout above the falls, you can appreciate the plant life that thrives in this rain forest. Make sure you bring your camera to capture some of the beautiful scenery around here, as well as the falls themselves. A 4km walk around the Purlingbrook Falls Circuit takes most people approximately 2 hours to complete.

If you visit the national park, leave it the same as when you arrived, pristine !
