Stopped at a park up in the Nashville area why visiting family last weekend. I only had two packs left, so I didn't have a chance to get really comfortable with the area, but I did get a chance to give RF1 a bit more of a workout. I've been struggling to eliminate that metallic whistling at low throttle, and it still feels a bit less snappy and a bit less direct than what I like (kind of like someone polished off all the crisp edges), but it flies really nice other than that. I'm still getting used to the rate system too, so it's hard to tell what is rates and what is the firmware at this point. I find myself wandering around a bit at mid stick, over-correcting a tad. I've adjusted the rates since this video and it feels better, so really my only last worry is the noise at low throttle. Going to try flashing Betaflight to see if it's hardware related. I've been messing with filters for days with no success so far, so eliminating hardware as a possibility seems like the next thing to do. The good thing is it doesn't seem to be impacting temperatures or performance. Motors come down cool, and everything seems smooth in the air.
