Sunrise at LAKE MANCHESTER Australia 4K - DJI Air 3

Stunning Lake Manchester was looking perfect, during a chilly winter's morning drone flight.

This video captures the transition from morning twilight to post sunrise.

Ipswich, Lockyer Valley & Scenic Rim Drone Flyers organised a small group meet up at the dam. We flew from various locations at the dam & lake.

The dam managers residence on top of the hill is abandoned, fenced off, and in a dilapidated condition.

Lake Manchester is located approximately 25 kilometers west of the city of Brisbane Queensland Australia and is part of the SEQ Water Grid.

The dam was originally constructed in 1916, making it one of the regions earliest dams, and was upgraded in 2008 to increase its storage capacity.

The lake has a catchment area of 74 km 2 and holds 26,217 million litres of water at full supply. Today it is one of a number of dams connected to the South East Queensland water grid.
