Switzerland: Sion - Chateau de Tourbillon et Bourge et Basilique de Valere

Tourbillon Castle is a ruin since it was damaged by fire in 1788. It was built in the 13th century by Bishop Bonifatius Challant. Unfortunately I was too early to visit and didn't have the time to wait.On the second hill lies the castle and basilica of Valere. They were first mentioned in 1049. Of those parts still standing today the oldest date from around 1100 to 1130. It sports one of the oldest organs still working.
