Tematín Castle

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Check out this marvelous drone video of Slovakia's Tematín Castle, compliments of contributor Pavol Turčani. Using a DJI Mavic Pro, he brings out the beauty of this semi-ruined structure in the western region of the country. Like many of Slovakia's castles, it was built in the 13th century, at a time when most of modern-day Slovakia was part of the Kingdom of Hungary. Tematín Castle fell into its current state after it was besieged during an uprising against Habsburg power in the early 18th century.
