The Cance Valley and the Péréande Rock France

Cance Valley is set between the city's of Annonay and Sarras in Ardeche where it flows into the Rhone, a wild and remarkable site with a column of granite La Roche Pereandre 38 meters high and 70 meters in circumference. South of France This valley has allowed the establishment of industries, mills, wool, felt, tanneries, paper industry, tanning, parchment and mechanics. Unfortunately all these activities have transformed this river into one of the most polluted in France, but the situation has improved since the 80s following the construction of purification stations.
