The Faroe Islands in 1 Day | 4K Cinematic Drone Video
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
XL Creations made the most of his day on Streymoy, the largest of the Faroe Islands. His drone video shows the stunning beauty of this North Atlantic archipelago, which has been a territory of Denmark since the early 19th century. Streymoy has a population of just under 25,000 (representing roughly 50% of the total resident Faroese population) and occupies a land area of about 375 square km (about 150 square mi.). Watch the video to see why the Faroe's are becoming the go-to spot for drone pilots around the world!

Located between Scotland and Iceland in the North Atlantic Ocean, lies this incredibly beautiful and breathtakingly unfamiliar land. The islands landscape is shaped of steep cliffs, deep fjords and high rising mountains. And because the island is so small, you are never more than 5 kilometres away from the ocean! This makes is a great place for landscape photography (and drone flying). Unfortunately we could only fly and film 1 day because the airline (SAS - Scandinavian Airlines) lost the suitcase with all our gear twice. Best advice we can give if you also want to visit this island: Take the ferry.
