The Fire Tower of Sopron (Sopron, Hungary) - POI shot
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Sopron is a town in the far western part of Hungary, near the border with Austria. The town was built over the course of the 9th-11th centuries on the ruins of an old Roman town, but was destroyed in a 17th-century fire. When the Austro-Hungarian Empire broke apart after World War I the area became a borderland between the two countries which emerged from the wreckage. Given its history, the fire tower was an important part of the rebuilt city and the subject of this drone video by contributor Thesmithdronian.

2018.04.31. | DJI Mavic Air | 4K@30 | Auto | 0 post-processing | During the Labour Day break we have spent a lovely long weekend with the Missus in the City of Fidelity, Sopron, where we have also had our honeymoon spent almost 2 years ago. On the first day, I got so much Compass errors and Magnetic interference warnings, without the slightest chance to recalibrate the Compass literally anywhere in the city that I've dreamed all red and yellow. Then the next day I took out my little badboy out to a fishing lake to recalibrate the Compass, and there you go, all went green. That's until we got back to the city, where if I wanted to take off from the ground, Compass error all over again. So handlaunch / handcatch weekend it is... :) The Fire Tower is one of the most significant landmark of Sopron, which was used as a watchtower to alert firefighters on any fire-related incidents in the area. HINT: never ever try to take-off from the ground of Main Square, as I have just learnt that even iron canon balls are beneath the cobble...
