In the neighborhood Antonia Santos of the citadel Juan Atalaya, a site is built for those who believe in the Catholic faith, or simply for those who want to enjoy the outdoors and a great view. The hill Jesus Nazareno or the crosses as it is also known, was modified to become a tourist landmark of the city. After years of struggle by the community, this place of pilgrimage was finally adequate to receive Holy Week. The works consist of walls of gabions, pedestrian paths with concrete slabs and access ramps, arborization, a salon and of course the 25-meter sculpture in the upper part of this. The project is promoted by the Mayor of Cúcuta with an investment of 1,500 million pesos and is expected to be ready in April.
