Toroni is a resort village in Northern Greece, located at the southwestern end of the Sithonia peninsula. The village is the successor of a large ancient city, one of the most important Chalcidian cities in Antiquity. According to the 2001 census, Toroni has 233 inhabitants. It is one of the most popular summer resorts of Sithonia, and its beaches are characterized by the presence of dense yellow sand. The beach is divided into a central and peripheral zone. The former are focused on the best hotels, bars and cafes. There are many sunbeds, good infrastructure and a large number of tourists. On the outskirts of Toroni it is quiet and peaceful.
The beach of Toroni is large with a lot of free space, warm and clear water with a turquoise color. It is not suitable for people who cannot swim because it gets deep very quickly. The main visitors of Toroni are families with children, young couples, fans of lazy vacations.
