Check out this amazing aerial view of the Hérault River Valley in Southern France. The river rises in the Massif Central highlands region and runs a generally southward course through the Gard and Hérault Departments before emptying into the Mediterranean Sea at the town of Agde. The area filmed is around the Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, a medieval village around the middle of the valley which was located on the Way of St. James pilgrimage route to the Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain.
