Vila do Topo, ilha de São Jorge, Azores

A Vila do Topo pertence ao município da Calheta. Tem uma população de 508 habitantes, e situa-se no extremo sueste da ilha de São Jorge, numa zona de declive suave que se prolonga até à Ponta do topo, onde se situa o farol, um dos ícones da vila. A cerca de 430 m da costa existe o ilhéu do Topo.

 Vila do Topo belongs to the municipality of Calheta. It has a population of 508 inhabitants, and is located at the south-east end of the island of São Jorge, in an area of gentle slope that extends to Ponta do topo, where is located the lighthouse, one of the icons of the village. About 430 m from the coast there is the islet of Topo.
