AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Vila Franca is a tiny islet which lies off the coast of São Miguel, the largest of the Azores archipelago, a chain of islands of the North Atlantic which are part of Portugal. Seen in this excellent drone video by AirVuz contributor Jumis Visuals, the island is actually above-sea-level portion of a volcanic cone which is now open to the sea. Situated off the southern coastline of the island, the islet is part of a nature preserve. It's become a popular spot for swimmers and cliff divers.
