Whale Nation

One morning at the end of the summer, we found ourselves observing in the waters of the Atlantic a rare spectacle - Humpback whales feasting on bunker fish. The event continued about two-three hours. Of course we were ready not to miss it and shot the footage with our DJI Mavic Air 2. Whale Nation, a poem written and narrated by Heathcote Williams, expresses how we feel about these majestic beings! We marry these words and voice with our images in dedication to the people who protect the whales. Filmed on September 9th, 2020, off the coast of Montauk, NY.
