Williamsburg, Virginia is one of the USA's great historical treasures. Located on the Tidewater in the eastern part of the state, it's one of the country's oldest settlements: it was founded in 1632, nearly a century and a half before the American Revolution.  Its original core city has been preserved as Colonial Williamsburg, in effect a museum of early American history.  Designated a National Historical Landmark since 1960, you can check out this very well-preserved colonial city from above in this drone videoby EricFoster.
