In this DVOW Finalist video by top contributor T - christ - T, you'll get a wintertime tour of the massive Chinese province of Xinjiang.  The autonomous province covers the northwestern part of the country and encompasses an enormous area of over 620k square mi. (about 1.6 million square km), comparable to the land area of Western Europe.  Sharing borders with eight different countries, and astride one of the main routes of the original Silk Road, Xinjiang's roughly 25 million inhabitants are a mix of several different ethnic groups.
