Yellow Season 2026

Some springs the rapeseed barely bothers. This one went all in. It came early, stayed dry, and held the light longer than it had any right to — so I flew it. Many evenings, April into May, until the first thunderstorm of the year walked in and closed the bloom for good. That storm is basically the end credits. It decided when this was finished, not me. What's left here is the part worth keeping: fields running gold to the treeline, the half hour before the colour gives out, sunsets I didn't plan and couldn't have. A few very good weeks. A couple of quieter, heavier ones folded in where they belong — because that was part of it too. Shot entirely in the Kraichgau, Baden-Württemberg
