Beautiful Panoramic Views from Mount Ispolin

Ispolin Peak is 1524m high and is the peak of the Shipchen Stara Planina. The weather is always very windy, so I don't recommend climbing it during the winter months.

The closest place to the top is the town of Gabrovo, which is only 22 km away on an asphalt road. Uzana is located at the foot of Mount Ispolin. This is the widest herb meadow in Stara Planina. It is surrounded by ancient beech forests. From the top you can see the city of Gabrovo, the city of Shipka, the Koprinka dam, Mount Shipka and Mount Buzludzha at the same time.

The starting point to Mount Ispolin is Uzana hut. The transition is extremely easy and pleasant. It lasts about an hour. Very close to it is the small Ispolin peak, which is 3 meters lower - 1521m.

Climbing Mount Ispolin can be combined with a visit to the Geographical Center of Bulgaria.
